ACR 60387 — HRIS Out of Balance/Balanced Payroll Transaction Report Change

Introduction
Application Change Request (ACR) 60387 added the Process Required Indicator to the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Out of Balance/Balanced Payroll Transaction Report (F48BBSBR), effective Nov. 15, 2019.
Issue
The HRIS report F48BBSBR and the HRIS online screen Voucher Summary Payroll Trans Control (ISPT) mirror each other and include similar data. Both are used by institutions to balance and post pending HRIS payroll vouchers.
However, the PROC-REQ field displayed on the ISPT screen did not appear on the Out of Balance/Balanced Payroll Transaction Report. PROC-REQ indicates possible corrective action necessary for an HRIS voucher to post to the permanent tables. Institutions using the Out of Balance/Balanced Payroll Transaction Report to correct pending vouchers needed to log onto the ISPT screen in HRIS to find the PROC-REQ value
Solution
HRIS F48BBSBR now contains the PROC-REQ value. PROC-REQ appears underneath STATUS on the report.
