CAPPS System Changes - March 2026

The system change information below provides a summary of the new and/or updated functionality that was implemented into the CAPPS Production environment during the indicated month, including the Service Request (SR) number for the change. This information is reviewed monthly during the CAPPS user group meetings.

The current Release Notes format began in April 2023. For additional details about the SRs listed in months prior to April 2023, CAPPS agency support staff can view the SR details via the SR ticketing system.

CAPPS Financials Changes

  • Update the AP Voucher Summary tab to display the user’s name associated with the CAPPS user ID for the CREATED BY and MODIFIED BY fields. (SR-69312)
  • Update the Requisitions to be Sourced report (TXPO017) to include the last budget checked date. (SR-69772)
  • Secure and add tables for query and reporting purposes (JRNL_HEADER_ATT, VCHR_LINE_STG, VCHR_DIST_STG, ATTRIBUTE_TBL). (SR-69779, SR-70678, SR-70676)
  • Update code to include “I” transactions on the SPA staging table. (SR-70595)

CAPPS HR/Payroll Changes

  • Allow entry of an employee's hire date and term date on the Prior State Service page even if the service time overlaps. (SR-61112)
  • Apply edits to validate that a merit submitted in Manager Self Service (MSS) falls within an agency's established merit limits. (SR-61260)
  • Appropriately calculate DOCKP hours in timesheets in all scenarios, so that correct hours can be paid. (SR-67543)
  • Correctly generate Employee Monthly Time report for managers who are also TL time administrators or decentralized superusers. (SR-70058)
  • Update the TRC by Date report to show all columns in an appropriate format, so that all amount fields are legible. (SR-70700)
  • Correctly calculate LOA months on the insertion of a prior state service (PSS) record. (SR-73223)
  • Secure records stored on the multi‑tenant tree so that sensitive employee leave information is protected and only accessible to authorized users. (SR-73517)
  • Successfully process valid transactions in Manage Job for a contingent worker when the transaction is within the acceptable keying window. (SR-73754)
  • Correctly reflect employee/manager comments and ratings in the printed performance document. (SR-74051)
