CAPPS System Changes - January 2026
The system change information below provides a summary of the new and/or updated functionality that was implemented into the CAPPS Production environment during the indicated month, including the Service Request (SR) number for the change. This information is reviewed monthly during the CAPPS user group meetings.
The current Release Notes format began in April 2023. For additional details about the SRs listed in months prior to April 2023, CAPPS agency support staff can view the SR details via the SR ticketing system.

CAPPS Financials Changes
- Create a Budget Journal Report. (SR-64281)
- Fix the asset profile threshold and repeated warning messages in the ePro module. (SR-66659)
- Fix cash receipts to only allow the base amount for a refund cancellation. (SR-66969)
- Add agency contact information on CAPPS-generated deposit slips. (SR-67126)
- Update the TX_VNDR_NIGP program to address performance issue. (SR-69567)
- Update the code assigning receipt ID to prevent duplicate IDs from being created. (SR-70120)
CAPPS HR/Payroll Changes
- Enable the use of paid parental leave (PPLV) for various FMLA reasons and not just birth or adoption. (SR-68346)
- Accept resume attachments from WorkInTexas. (SR-69539)
- Allow the compensation rate to display in the TX_PY_AGY_PAYROLL_DIST_EARN_HRS query results. (SR-70810)
- Update performance management approval workflow "Apvl No Review" for template "DPS EE/MGR out 6 mo" to enable the document to automatically close/complete after the second-level approval manager approves it. (SR-72757)
- Fix to accurately sync the LAST_INCREASE_DT with the most recent pay increase. (SR-73766)
- Apply of the annual Oracle patches relating to ACA processing for calendar year end 2025. (SR-74764)
