State Pass-Through Activities Tutorial

Description

This tutorial is designed for state agency personnel responsible for recording and reconciling state pass-throughs activities and maintaining agency’s data in the State Pass-Through Reporting (SPTR) web application.

Prerequisites

New users must attend the USAS Core Lab before completing this tutorial. Training dates for the USAS Core Lab are listed in the FMX Training Center .

Before You Begin

New users must have an understanding of how to:

• Establish Security Access
• Log into the SPTR Web Application

Objectives

In this training, you will:

• Review the accounting standard and the Comptroller’s office policies related to state pass-through activities
• Examine the accounting treatments of state pass-through activities
• Learn the steps necessary to correct errors when recording state pass-through activities
• Understand the SPTR web application and deadlines
