Meeting Scheduled for Oct. 3

A meeting to present information on the ongoing statewide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, in Room 1-111 of the William B. Travis Building in Austin. This meeting will provide agencies with an update on ProjectONE and the next steps for the Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS).

After the meeting, the materials will be posted on the Statewide ERP Agency Executive Management Updates page.

Background

House Bill 3106, 80th Legislature, Regular Session, tasked the Comptroller’s office with developing a plan for implementing ERP for Texas state government. The ProjectONE team used Oracle’s PeopleSoft ERP suite as a base to create CAPPS, the state’s ERP system.
