CAPPS Steering Committee
The CAPPS Steering Committee is a closed meeting for the designated and elected agency representatives selected for each biennium. The committee is responsible for:
- Maintaining congruity between current project implementations and CAPPS maintenance.
- Reviewing and evaluating feedback from Participating CAPPS Agencies regarding system changes presented for voting (as applicable).
- Verifying that suggested system changes comply with state and federal mandates and/or policy requirements.
- Granting final approval for all applicable system changes (including enhancements).
Meetings are usually held the second Tuesday of the month.
Fiscal 2026-27 Committee Members
In CAPPS’ representative governance, designated agency contacts elect their voting committee members for each biennium, grouped by agency size (number of FTEs). See the CAPPS governance document for more information about the CAPPS member election and governance process.
