Authorization Updates Due for Changes to Statewide Payroll/Personnel Systems [posted 04/24/15]

Letter of Authorization (LOA) Signature Lists currently on file for HRIS, SPRS, USPS and CAPPS will expire on May 31.

By May 31, each agency and institution of higher education must submit the names of authorized employees and a new LOA Signature List form. Beginning June 1, only newly authorized state employees may request data changes.

Promote National Direct Deposit Month with Updated Materials [posted 04/24/15]

Reminder — Warrant Size to Change May 5 [posted 04/24/15]

Effective May 5, the state warrants (checks) will have a different size and appearance.

The new warrants fit in #10 window business envelopes and will be 8.5 x 3.5 inches printed on an 8.5 x 11 sheet that includes the stub. Your agency may need to stock envelopes to accommodate the new warrant size.

Held warrants issued before May 5 that are released will be in the current size. Current warrant envelopes may need to be stocked for 30-45 days after May 5 for distribution of released held warrants issued before May 5.

Reminder — Deadline Approaching for First Quarter Veteran Workforce Summary Reports [posted 04/17/15]

The quarterly Veteran Workforce Summary Report acknowledgement form (with required complaint reporting included) must be submitted by April 23.

FMQuery Upgrade and Classes Delayed [posted 04/16/15]

The upgrade to the software behind FMQuery has been delayed. The FMQuery – Payroll classes will be rescheduled. Watch for an update on the upgrade in FMXtra.

More FMQuery – Payroll Classes Scheduled on the Business Objects Upgrade [posted 04/10/15]

The software behind FMQuery – Payroll will be upgraded on April 20. Fiscal Management has scheduled additional classes to familiarize current users with the new Business Objects environment and enable them to generate queries successfully.

The reports and data available will be the same in the new version, but navigating the screens will change. A guide to the changes that illustrates how to do the most common tasks will be available on FMX on April 20. The guide will allow current users to make the transition to 4.1 without attending a training class.

If you would like hands-on training with example exercises, sign up for FMQuery – Payroll Quick Start to Business Objects 4.1 (Current Users Only) in Training Center (login required).

Note: Additional class sessions will be added depending on demand. If the additional sessions fill up quickly, be sure to add your name to the waiting list or recheck the Training Center schedule.
