Future Deployments

Contingent on legislative appropriations, the Comptroller’s office plans to deploy the final group of state agencies on CAPPS Financials by the beginning of fiscal 2024.

The remaining state agencies make up 6 percent of state spending through CAPPS Financials. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice’s spend is approximately $6.6 billion, which represents the majority of the outstanding amount.
