General Instructions

  • A status change affects all position assignments the employee holds.
  • Terminating an employee automatically inactivates direct deposits and updates (Prior State Service) HN8U1.
  • When reason code 069 (Deceased) is used, H0BUS automatically links to HO0U1 where the name and mailing address for the deceased employee’s estate is set up. Additionally, the employee’s FEDERAL TAX STATUS automatically changes to an exempt status on the H0BUD screen.
