Quasi-External Transactions

Quasi-external transactions are transactions that would be accounted for as revenues or expenditures if they involved a party that was external to the government.

Examples of quasi-external transactions include:

• Internal service fund billings to other funds for services provided
• Routine employer contributions from the general fund to a pension trust fund
• Routine service charges for services provided by an agency to another agency
