USPS Reports by Number –
Report 1006 HR:M Change Listing
This report displays changes made on USPS. This includes online processing, change transactions, and manual payments and adjustments. The total of all changes captured will also appear.
This report can be used as an audit trail. It displays the user who made the change, when it was made, and what fields were updated.
Multiple Report 1006s can generate on any given night.
Note: Not all screens are monitored for changes made, therefore they will not appear on this report. For example, changes made on HNHLS and HMPHR are not captured.

Report Headings
- DATE
- Displays the date the change was made.
- TIME
- Displays the time, in 24-hour format, when the change was made.
- TERMINAL OPERATOR
- Displays the user identification of the person who made the change. If field is blank the change was made through a change transaction. For example, an insurance change sent from Employee Retirement System.
- TRAN ID
- Displays the transaction code associated with the change. If the change was made online, the screen where the change was made will display.
- DBID
- Displays the database that was updated by the change. This is the first three characters of a screen.
- DESC
- Displays a description when the change is to a special pay or a deduction, otherwise this field is blank.
- FIELD CHANGED
- Displays the abbreviated name of the field that was changed.
- POS NO
- Displays the position number.
- CURRENT VALUE
- Displays the value after the change was made.
- PREVIOUS VALUE
- Displays the value before the change was made.
- NET CHANGE
- Displays the difference between the current and the previous values if the values are numeric. This does not include numeric values that represent an alphanumeric value.
- NUMBER OF CHANGES
- Displays the total number of changes captured.
