Post-Rollover September Entry for Position Changes
Overview
After completion of the employee assignment rollover, non-legislative reclassifications for Sept. 1 can be entered along with the regular September personnel actions.
The Position Table (HNPFY) screen allows changes to the 09/01/2021 budgeted values on the Position Table (HNPU1) screen. The HNPFY screen can be used only for 09/01/2021 HNPU1 records.
HNPFY modifications should be made before the assignment rollover to be included in the F22, HNH and HMP rollover records. If the HNPFY modifications are done after the assignment rollover, the agency must also enter a personnel action on HMPHR that modifies the HNH and HMP records.

Enter the organization code. This code must be established on the Organization Table (HNORG) screen with an effective date of 09/01/2021.Note: When an organization code is changed on HNPFY, the HMP record displays the changed data, but an action must be processed on the Employee Assignment Change (HMPHR) screen that updates the Employee Assignment History (HNHLS) screen. Agencies must first process 09/01/2021 post-rollover organization code changes on HNPFY. This only corrects the HNP position record; you must follow up with a reason code 038 transaction on HMPHR to update employee history.
