ACR 28561 – SPA System Change

Introduction

ACR 28561 modifies the State Property Accounting System (SPA) effective May 14, 2010.

Issue

The SPA online application currently defaults to the current date in data entry fields. Failure to override this date may have unintended consequences in certain circumstances, such as recording a property transaction in the incorrect fiscal year.

Solution

The system will be modified to prevent the default of the current date in these fields:

DISPOSAL DATE on the Disposal Property (PADLET) screen
TRANSFER DATE on the Transfer Property (PATRAN) screen

No new error messages will be produced.
