Maximum Security and Behavioral Management Unit Salaries
Background
Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) are authorized to pay certain employees additional compensation for working in a maximum security unit or a behavioral management unit of state mental health and mental retardation facilities. These employees may be paid up to 6.8 percent more than the regular salary rate for working in these units.
Determining Eligibility
DSHS and DADS will determine which employees are eligible for the increase.
