Online Entry Screens
Online Entry Navigation
You must enter the screen ID on line 1, upper-left position, to navigate to an online entry screen or access the online entry screens via the TINS Update Menu (PYMENU) screen.
Once you are on a screen, you can use the Direction Message Keys at the bottom of the screen to navigate within a screen or perform other functions. The screen instructions include descriptions of the direction message keys. See Master/Mail Code Setup Direction Message Keys for an example.
Before you start online entry, have the payee/payment information from the appropriate Payment Services Forms available, including the payee number:
- 1 TIN: Based on the 9-digit employer identification number (EIN) with prefix of 1
- 2 TIN: Based on the 9-digit Social Security number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) with prefix of 2
- 3 TIN: 11-digit Comptroller-assigned 3 TIN
- 7 TIN: 11-digit system-generated random number
